When you visit your doctor, your doctor spends considerable time thoroughly documenting your vital signs and medical complaints before deciding on a treatment plan. Oftentimes, you might receive imaging or lab tests. All of this detailed information on you is then consolidated together into the your medical record.
Coral Health makes it simple to get this information on your phone and share it with your other doctors or loved ones. Try it yourself on Android or iOS. It’s free!
The Coral Health team will be at HIMSS from February 11th through February 15th in Orlando! Our co-founder and CEO, Philip Parker, will be speaking about how Coral Health is building a consumer focused healthcare system on Thursday, February 14th at 10:15 at the Innovation Live Pavilion in Hall F.
Many of the problems in our healthcare system trace back to the inaccessibility of consumers’ clinical data, and yet consumers remain the most underutilized resource in healthcare. Coral Health is building a more connected future in healthcare by leveraging consumer-mediated data exchange to improve access, lower costs and enable personalized care.
Chat with us after the presentation or stop by our kiosk (Booth 9000, kiosk 33) in the Innovation Live Pavilion to learn how.
We look forward to seeing you there!
We all know we’ve involuntarily paid a price for the digital services we use. Facebook started as a simple way for us to share pictures and life updates. We’ve now surrendered that data to third party analytics firms. Equifax was a platform that allowed us and our vendors to more quickly access our financial data. The data we entrusted to them is now spilled out in the open. Almost every week, we seem to hear about some new egregious mishandling of our private information.
Coral Health, a technology company accelerating seamless healthcare data exchange, is excited to announce that its flagship mobile app, Coral Health Records, is generally available through Google Play and Apple App stores.
Coral Health Records provides users with the unprecedented ability to collect and control their healthcare information. The app currently connects with over 200 hospitals across the USA and Canada to sync an individual’s electronic health record (EHR) data securely to their device. The company expects the number of connected institutions to grow to 1000 by year end. Coral Health Records also allows parents and legal guardians to access…
One of the biggest criticisms of blockchain technology today is that there are no actual use cases of the blockchain. Sure, Bitcoin is being widely used as a tradeable digital asset, but its mention in the media is often accompanied by statements like, “Bitcoin is only scratching the surface of what the underlying technology can do.”
This media message has been around for a few years, however, it’s rather surprising that serious blockchain based applications still haven’t been built or adopted at any appreciable level. Cryptokitties might be the only exception here, but even its popularity is fleeting. Sure, people…
The revamped Coral Health website is now live!
Your website is your storefront, as they say. This is why we’ve been busy renovating mycoralhealth.com, so that it truly reflects what we have to offer.
Coral Health is trying to fix the stubborn challenges of healthcare data exchange — and if any of you are familiar with the industry, you know it’s complex and multifarious. As such, we’ve designed our new website to speak to each of our key stakeholders: patients, providers, laboratories, insurance companies, the life sciences industry and public health authorities.
We know you’ve been waiting for this! Coral Health uses the same secure approach as Apple Health to help you access your medical records, ensuring compatibility with over 500 eligible healthcare organizations from across the US.
✔ Seamless setup: Our app creates a secure connection between your mobile device and each location that your medical records are stored. Just use your existing account login details.
✔ Persistent connection: Login once. Our app will then alert you when you have new medical information like lab results or prescriptions to view.
✔ Total control: All of your information is stored encrypted on…
Even casual observers of the cryptocurrency space can see that the massive hype cycle in 2017 has subsided quite a bit and we’re in a down market this year. This bearish sentiment isn’t isolated to just cryptocurrencies. It’s extended to the underlying blockchain technology itself. People are realizing it’s not the technological panacea it was purported to be. It’s not going to take down governments overnight. It’s not going to swiftly enable robot proxies of ourselves to duke it out with our robot adversaries. Turns out, we can’t even effectively trade artwork using the blockchain yet.
So naturally, as humans…
In the first tutorial in our Hyperledger Fabric series, we set up our very own network, created two organizations each with two peers, created a simple token smart contract, and sent some tokens around. We recommend going through it first before proceeding with this one. Don’t worry, it doesn’t take long.
In this tutorial we’re going to take it a step further. We’re going to simulate building a full blockchain-based application complete with a decentralized network, a smart contract recording application state to the ledger, and client-side application code that interacts with it programatically. Let’s dig in.
